Biscuits series opener against Blue Wahoos postponed

Tuesday’s Montgomery Biscuits game against Pensacola has been called off due to an apparent COVID-19 situation.

In a press release, the Biscuits’ front office stated the game had been postponed in adherence to health and safety protocols.

The statement included the following…

“The Biscuits regret having to postpone tonight’s game on short notice but the safety of our players, coaches and fans is of the utmost importance to our organization and Minor League Baseball.”

No makeup date was issued. The game was the opener to a five-game series at Riverwalk Stadium.
