Possible threatening weather causes move of several prep football games in the River Region

A few local high school games have moved from Friday to tonight to avoid weather issues.

Local forecasts have heavy rain and thunderstorms in the River Region on Friday, causing games to shift to this evening.

One other game, Catholic at Eufaula, will be played Saturday afternoon.

Here is a list of games involving teams from the River Region and surrounding counties that are moving to Thursday this week.

All games are scheduled for a 7 p.m. kickoff .

  • Autaugaville at Notasulga (Class 1A)

  • Alabama Christian at Northside Methodist (Dothan) (Class 3A)

  • Loachapoka at Lanett (Class 2A)

  • Trinity Presbyterian at Prattville Christian (Class 3A)

  • Dadeville at Beulah (Class 3A)

  • Talladega at BTW-Tuskegee (Class 4A)

  • Catholic at Eufaula (Class 5A) (Game will be played Saturday at 1 p.m.)
